Strategy 7 today announced that the firm has been contracted to implement and install IBM's InfoSphere "Information Analyzer" solution into an existing customer's robust and growing data enterprise.
The decision, after much review and analysis, will save the company months of implementation time and will allow the entire enterprise to share and extract time-critical operational data.
IBM InfoSphere Information Analyzer provides unique capabilities including complete source system profiling and analysis that allows users to easily understand data with profiling functionality. With Information Analyzer, analysts can easily initiate processing for one process while continuing to analyze other data, and then deliver the resulting information to others.
Ensuring that data projects contain trusted information, Information Analyzer lowers the risk of propagating bad data. Comprehensive, Easy-to-use Reports are configurable and the visual representation of analysis/trends/metrics and incorporation of user generated notes help customers to understand results quickly and efficiently.
Scheduling analysis activities, Information Analyzer utilizes the Information Server scheduling service, allowing both adhoc and scheduled execution of profiling, rules, and metrics. Strategy 7's customer will be able to leverage existing mainframe resources to maximize the value of IT investments and take advantage of the scalability, security, manageability and reliability of the mainframe.
